Turkey & Egypt family beach planner
Choose the ages, month, budget band and board basis. You get seven days of morning, afternoon and evening blocks, each labelled with a minimum child age and a walking distance.
The planner turns four answers into a week you can read through in a few minutes. Here is what it builds, and what stays on your side of the table.
Child ages, travel month, budget band and board basis. Ages and the month drive everything else. A four-year-old and a ten-year-old get different days, and August in Turkey is a different week from May.
Each day lists a morning, an afternoon and an evening block, with the minimum child age and the walking distance in metres for every block. Nothing is booked, nothing is held, no live availability is checked.
Take the draft to the resort or the tour operator and confirm kids club age grouping, staff ratios and pool supervision for your exact week. Prices and availability move, and terms apply.
Planner FAQ
Child ages, month, walking distances and board basis decide most family beach weeks. Short answers, with the ranges we plan from.
Ages 4 to 8 do best where the lagoon pool stays shallow and the kids club groups by age. Ages 9 to 12 get more from water parks and snorkelling. Under 3, favour short transfers and plenty of shade.
July and August carry the hardest midday heat in both countries. Plan pool time before 11, shade between 12 and 16, or move the week to late May, June or September.
Beachfront resorts usually mean 150 to 400 meters from room to pool to sea. Ask for the distance in meters and whether the beach is reached by steps, ramp or boardwalk.
Most families we plan for depart via Chisinau, Warsaw, Bucharest or Istanbul. Count door-to-resort time rather than flight time: 10 to 14 hours is realistic with a child.
All inclusive suits children who graze all day, and in the value band it often costs less than daily restaurant meals. Half board suits families who like eating out. Value, mid and premium are indicative bands only: prices and availability can change and terms apply.
Ask four things: how children are grouped by age, the staff ratio, whether there is indoor space for hot afternoons, and who supervises water. Clubs that answer these before you book are the ones worth trusting.
